Who do you know that recently had a baby?

(This is our  nephew Bradyn who was born on August , 8 2009.)

With the blessing of new life a huge responsibility is born.  The parents are responsible to provide a roof over their child’s head, food in its belly and clothes on its back for 18 years.  In most families one parent works while the other takes care of the children and the family goals can only be met when both parents are playing their role. 

Today’s job market is the most competitive job market we have ever seen.  There are more workers available than jobs to offer.  There are so many college graduates to choose from that even Starbucks is able to hire 4 year graduates as cashiers and baristas. 

The only way a child can make a life for himself is if he has the proper education.  Education makes the child valuable to his fellow man because people are willing to pay for the child’s knowledge.  Without education the only jobs that will be available are difficult, tiresome, minimum wage position and that’s only if they havn’t been outsourced overseas. 

If one of the parents dies or becomes disabled the ability to provide an education to their child disappears like dust in the wind.  After paying for daily living expenses there is no money left over to save for education.   

If Family Protection Group had any say in the law then mortgage protection would be mandatory for families who have children.  A child suffers emotionally when a parent is lost but when there is no mortgage protection the consequences to that child’s life are devastating.
